IIT Hyderabad is all set to launch a full-fledged BTech programme in AI. It claims to be the first Indian academic organization to offer such a course. And third institute globally, after Carnegie Mellon University and Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).

IIT-H is already offering MTech programme in artificial intelligence – machine learning. From the 2019-2020 academic session, the course will have an intake of 20 students who will be selected through JEE (advanced).

Prof UB Desai director of IIT-H said, our aim is aim is to create a complete ecosystem for academics and research on artificial intelligence. They offer various courses, different minor programmes in AI along with BTech and MTech.
