Australia beats Pakistan in the Cricket World Cup 2019

Defending champions Australia registered their third win in the 2019 World cup cricket tournament. Thus making them creep to the No.2 spot with 6 points from 4 matches. Early this Wednesday, Australia batted first and set a target of 307 from 49 overs. Batting second Pakistan crashed down for 266 in 45.4 overs. Australia beat Pakistan by 41 runs, David Warner for his 107 runs from 111 balls was awarded the man of the match.

Though Mohammad Amir took 5 wickets for 30 runs and Pakistan lower order batsmen showered some fireworks, at the end Australia held their nerves in a tense finish and managed a 41 run victory.
