During the last sitting of the Lok Sabha on Wednesday, Samajwadi Party patriarch Mulayam Singh Yadav said that he prays for PM Narendra Modi’s return to power in the next elections. He added, that PM tried to move ahead taking everyone along. He hopes to see the same set of MPs in the next Lok Sabha. These comment made Congress leader Sonia Gandhi total baffled. The house broke into laughter. Though Mulayam Singh Yadav supporters believe it was all in humor, the actual intensity of the statement can’t be taken as a joke.
The comment may not please his son Akhilesh Yadav, who is going to play a major role in the grand opposition coalition against Modi and the BJP in the national election. It is known that the father and son were not on good terms over the past two years.
