Jagan’s new case about Kodi Kathi’s attack in HC

by | Nov 26, 2018

The infamous case of Kodi Kathi at Vizag International Airport has seen many twists and turns. Following the AP government and its home department for failing to submit or report this case to the central authorities. Jagan filed an opposite case on the state government. Already, the head of the YSRCP had asked the Hyderabad High Court to entrust investigation tasks to a third party other than the state police. Now, he went further and lodged a complaint against the PA government and his home department for failing to submit or report this case to the central authorities.

Despite such aggression inside the airport’s premises, which is under the control of the Indian Airports Authority – a central government institution, Jagan says the state police have failed to report the case to the Center. He opines this constitutes a serious violation of the Protocol. He asked the court to order the state authorities to hand over the case to any central authority, such as the Investigations Office or the Crime Bureau, for quick results. With this new additional case, Jagan believes he can take over the ruling party, the TDP, in the middle of the general election. He is convinced that the rivalry between the BJP and the TDP would encourage the Center to favor Jagan over the TDP.
