YSRC party is committed to providing houses for all eligible poor people. Minister for Housing Ch Sri Ranganatha Raju has said they will conduct a survey and construct 25 lakh houses in the State in the next five years. They are ready to purchase land from private owners for housing schemes beneficiaries and they will distribute registration documents and not house site pattas. He added by pledging the property documents, the beneficiaries can get a loan of Rs 4 lakh from banks.
Referring to the previous government, he said TDP failed to conduct the household survey properly to identify the beneficiaries of the housing scheme.
