NTR Mahanayakudu is all set to release today. While part 1 was focussed on depicting how NTR established himself as a professional actor, Part 2 mostly focuses on his political journey.
When asked to comment on the movie, Nadendla Bhaskar Rao warned the producers and director, of legal consequences if shown in bad light. He said, “I haven’t backstabbed anybody. I myself, am a victim of backstab”.
Nadendla Bhaskar Rao entered state politics around 1976-77. He became a member of state assembly in 1978. In fact, he played a key role in the formation of TDP in 1982. He was regarded as a political guru of NTR in later’s earlier days of politics. However, a political coup that took place in the absence of NTR in 1984, strained the relations between the two. Finally Nadendla Bhaskar Rao moved to Congress(I) and has been working with that party since then. He was the shortest Chief Minister of the state of Andhra Pradesh, with 31 days in office.
While NTR Mahanayakudu claims to have left the N.Chandrababu – NTR episode untouched, it is to be seen, if the 1984 coup will be shown? Will Nadendla be shown as a villain in NTR’s political life? Let’s wait to watch!
